Workshop on Health Data Analytics and Visualization

Participants: Officials from SHSRC Maharashtra

GISE Hub, in collaboration with CTARA, IIT Bombay, conducted a 3-day workshop focused on strengthening capacities in the use of health data, spatial analysis and geospatial visualization. The sessions covered practical applications of GIS tools, public health mapping, spatial epidemiology and integrated data analysis.

A special session on data analysis and governance was led by Dr. Sekhar Bonu, Senior Fellow at NITI Aayog and Scholar in Residence at GISE Hub.

The workshop concluded with reflections on building a data culture to support evidence-based decision-making in public health.

This workshop is part of a continuum of capacity-building efforts leading up to SANGAM 3.0(2025) to be held at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik from 22nd August 2025.
