CONCLAVE ON URBAN MOBILITY ANALYTICS
GISE Hub in Association with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, organized a one day conclave on Urban Mobility Analytics .Several eminent academic institutions and thinktanks in India are conducting research on urban mobility analytics through centers of excellence, research and engineering hubs, incubators and accelerators, and departmental subject matter focus. To bring such research to the fore, the Geospatial Information Science and Engineering Hub (GISE Hub) at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB), in collaboration with MoHUA, is hosting a conclave on Urban Mobility Analytics on Thursday, 17th November 2022. The conclave will include deliberations for the formulation of Urban Mobility Analytics Group and development of its working principles. The conclave will also feature thematic sessions under the ambit of urban mobility analytics, with each session comprising presentations by experts on their research pertinent to the theme. The themes that will be discussed in the conclave are
Analytics of Urban Transportation Data
Leveraging Geoanalytics for Solving Urban Mobility Problems
Modelling Urban Transport Phenomenon
Enhanced Accessibility of Transportation Systems and Facilities
Thematic presentations will be followed by round table discussions chaired by representatives of public bodies and government institutions, wherein ideas for taking the discussed research forward for positive on-ground action will be deliberated amongst participants.
