Workshop Recap
The 3-day workshop on "Geospatial Technology for Public Health Policy" organized by Geospatial Information Science and Engineering (GISE) Hub – IIT Bombay and Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar concluded successfully on May 29, 2024.
The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of Health GIS, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills through hands-on exercises. Participants gained insights into spatial analysis in health GIS, GIS for epidemiology, public health mapping, multilevel modeling for geographic variation in health outcomes, and data visualization case studies.
The workshop was attended by public health professionals and researchers eager to leverage geospatial data and technologies for effective policymaking. Participants received a 'Participantion Certificate' upon successful completion of the workshop.
